Jangka hayat barangan kosmetik: When to throw makeup away??

This entry is about makeup lifespan. Sa mo bt ni entry sebagai guidelines utk girls out there dan jg utk diri sa sndri.. I guess majority female mmg ada simpan alat solek (makeup/cosmetic) biarpun cuma 1.. hehe.

Jgn ingat barangan kosmetik yg kita beli boleh kekal selamanya selagi x habis dpakai k..
hehe.. Ada expiry date dia yg we girls need to be aware of.. Kalau produk tu sdah expired, adalah merbahaya utk kta letakkan pd kulit.. Me myself kena sntiasa beringat jg sbb honestly sa ni jnis yg x sanggup buang barang2/kosmetik yg telah sa beli. Apa lg kalo brgn kosmetik tu masih blm hbis sa guna.. We girls know that barangan kosmetik ni bukannya murah.. Even kalo murah pn, sayang jg kn? Huhuhu~

Makeup pnya barang ni sy slalu kategorikan kpd bbrapa jnis produk, please refer to the information below utk memastikan jangka hayat simpanan alat kosmetik ^^ :

Tarikh luput — bermula dari masa kamu first open these products

Foundation (powder) - 2 years

Foundation (liquid) - 1 year

Concealer (powder/stick) - 1 to 2 years

Concealer (liquid) - 1 year

Powder - 18 months to 2 years

Blusher/bronzer (powder) - 2 years

Blusher/bronzer (cream) - 12 to 18 months

Eye shadow (powder) - 3 months to 2 year, but will also last up to 3 years

Eye shadow (cream) - 12 to 18 months

Pencil eye liner - 1 to 2 years, will also last up to 3 years

Liquid eyeliner - 3 to 6 months

Mascara - Every 3 months (Extra tip: If you don't want your mascara to expire faster than its fresh date, don't pump the wand in and out -- you're only exposing the product to drying air.)

Lipstick - 1 to 2 years

Lip gloss - 18 to 24 months

Lip liner - 1 to 2 years, will also last up to 3 years

Lip balms - 1 to 2 years

 

Cream & gel cleansers - 1 year (usually ada expiry date utk refer)

Nail polish - 1 year

Fragrance - 2 to 5 years

Makeup sponges - Wash after each use, then throw away after a month.

Brushes - Wash every 2 or 3 months in a mild detergent
